Welcome to Year 6

Year 6 is a significant year in which pupils build on their previous learning and prepare for a successful transition to secondary school. Our curriculum has been carefully planned to provide pupils with a rich and engaging learning experience across all subjects.

Children will develop their critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills through challenging and inspiring learning opportunities. Alongside core subjects, they will explore a broad range of topics in history, geography, science, computing, art, music and physical education.

We are excited to support every child in achieving their best and becoming confident, independent learners ready for the challenges ahead.
