Welcome to Year 5!

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Year 5. This is an exciting year in which children continue to develop their independence, confidence and resilience while building upon the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout Key Stage 2.

Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. Through engaging topics and challenging learning experiences, pupils will deepen their understanding across all subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Computing, Art, Music and Physical Education. We encourage children to think critically, work collaboratively and take pride in their achievements.

As the children move towards the upper years of primary school, we will continue to support them in becoming responsible, reflective and enthusiastic learners. We value the strong partnership between home and school and look forward to working closely with you to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
