Welcome to Year 4!

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Year 4. This year promises to be an exciting journey filled with opportunities to learn, grow and achieve. As pupils continue their Key Stage 2 journey, they will build upon their existing knowledge and develop greater confidence, independence and responsibility.

Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning through engaging and challenging lessons. Children will deepen their understanding across a wide range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Computing, Art, Music and Physical Education. Through a variety of practical, creative and collaborative activities, pupils will be encouraged to think critically, solve problems and develop important skills for the future.

Year 4 is also an important year for developing fluency and confidence in multiplication and division, as pupils prepare for the Multiplication Tables Check. We will support children every step of the way, helping them to become resilient learners who are proud of their achievements.
