PE NEWS At NGJS

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you know, Norwood Green Junior School is committed to creating a healthy, happy and active learning environment for our pupils. We are carrying on with our daily mile throughout the year groups in order to promote exercise and the positive benefits it has on our overall health. You can keep informed about our sport successes, healthy living workshops and activities and any upcoming PE news on our website!

What is coming up in PE

This term we will be taking part in a number of exciting activities.

In their PE lessons, children in year 3 will be taking part in swimming lessons and learning the fundamental skills of games. Year 4 and year 6 will be taking part in gym activities and hockey. We are very excited to try it! Year 5 will be taking part in gym activities and Netball. Years 4, 5 and 6 will also be learning rugby.

Fitness Challenge

Why not try this fitness challenge. Try complete as many challenges as you can. Remember to be resilient if you are finding it tricky.
