School Lunches

Lunch time is from 12:30 - 1:30pm. Lunches are provided by Chartwell's. The facility offers a balanced and varied diet.  An alternative menu for religious and dietary reasons can be provided.

Parents order their child's food in advance via ParentPay. A dinner and dessert cost £2.30 and water is also available. Children who bring packed lunches should ensure that the contents are wholesome and healthy.

Free meals are available to the children of parents on Universal Credit, Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance (Income based), an Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance, Child Tax Credit (providing you are not receiving Working Tax Credit) or receiving Financial Support in accordance with the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 – please provide a letter from NASS.

If you wish to apply for free school meals, you can do so on the hounslow council website or by following the link here.  If you are entitled but your child prefers a packed lunch please still apply as it helps the school to receive extra funding.

There are three whole school assemblies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week, along with two class assemblies/reflection times on Tuesday and Thursday.

End of the School Day

The School day finishes at 3:30pm. The school gates are open from 3:25pm. Parents are welcome to wait in the school playground for their child/children to come out of class.  Teachers will escort their class out to the playground at 3.30pm. All children not collected within 10 minutes of the end of the school day will be taken to the school office where attempts will be made to contact the parent. If children are to be collected by someone other than the parent/carer, this must be indicated to a member of the office staff before collection.  If a parent/carer or alternative nominated adult is going to be late to collect their child then then they must contact the school office to notify them.

Parking around the school at the beginning and end of the day is always a problem. We ask that you walk where possible, or park a little further away and walk the short distance to the school.

Water, Fruit and Milk

Children are encouraged to bring in a bottle of water and a piece of fruit for mid morning each day.

If you would like your child to have school milk, this can be arranged through Cool Milk at School Ltd. Please contact the school office for an application form, download it from our 'Letters to Parents' area or go
